Historic Phoenixville Area Fun Guide

Bored? Tired of the humdrum of daily life?

Break out of that old routine and spice it up with the fun and excitement of Phoenixville's First Friday Celebrations! Here, we party in the streets! Come see the talented musicians and street performers and visit the shops for local artist's offerings like paintings, pottery and other craft items. Make sure to leave room for dinner because we have some of the best restaurants and dinning in the King of Prussia and Philadelphia area. Stay for cocktails at the Fenix Martini Bar or dance the night away to live Irish bands at Molly Maquier's Pub or if you prefer piano music catch the show upstairs at The Columbia bar & grill. For those that like DJ music and hanging out to meet old friends and new, PJ Ryan's Pub is the place for you. If you find you just can't stop those feet from moving, shuffle on over to Club 212 to shake that groove thing. Whatever your style, you will find a home in Phoenixville.

Be sure to check out our Events Calendar.

Dogwood Festival Dunk Tank- volunteers needed!!!

The Dogwood Festival is just around the corner, May 10th to the 15th. Rides, games, food, and fun will be filling Reeves Park.

This year, the Phoenixville Jaycees will be running a dunk tank everyday of the festival and we are looking for members of the community to "dunk." The funds raised will help us continue to put on great events such as the Burn Off the Bird 5k, Date Auction, and Community Cleanups all of which allow us to give back to the community.
We are looking for people to get a little bit wet from Monday May 10th to Friday May 14th from 6pm until 9pm and on Saturday May 15th from 4pm until 9pm.

If you are available, please contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with what date(s) and time(s) you can participate.

The Phoenixville news scene has suffered much with the lose of the daily publication of the Phoenix newspaper. It has been a valued contributor for many years. My hope for this site is that the community gets involved on a personal level to contribute articles on subjects they are personally involved in. You may list your events on the calendar, post your videos from the festivals, advertise store openings and sales and even share your pictures and memories of your Phoenixville history. All of these services are free of charge, so there are no reasons to not get involved.
